Contact and glass prescriptions can be filled at our offices or prescriptions can be released to the patient so they may purchase their glasses and contacts at an optical of their choice.

DISPOSABLE WEAR:
Designed for limited wearing life (1 day, 2 weeks, 2 months, 3 months, or 6 months depending on the type of contact)

Care: Wash hands with soap and water before handling contacts. Place contacts in palm of hand and put 2 drops of multipurpose solution on lens. Gently rub 1 side of lens for about 20 seconds, then turn over and rub other side. Place 2 more drops of solution to remove any debris. Place in case according to corresponding eye, and fill until contact is submerged with multipurpose solution. Need to change solution in case daily if wearing contacts or at least once a week, if not wearing contacts.

Insertion: Wash hands with soap and water before handling contacts. The contact should curve like a cup, not like a saucer. If saucer shaped then lens is inside out. Clean or remove debris with solution before putting in contacts. Take lens case and dump solution out. Rinse case with multipurpose solution, let air dry while wearing contacts.

 

DAILY WEAR:
Designed to last 12 months

Care: Wash hands with soap and water before handling contacts. Place contacts in palm of hand and put 2 drops of multipurpose solution on lens. Gently rub 1 side of lens for about 20 seconds, then turn over and rub other side. Place 2 more drops of solution to remove any debris. Place in case according to corresponding eye, and fill until contact is submerged with multipurpose solution. Need to change solution in case at least once a week, no mattter if worn or not.

TORIC:
Designed for patients with astigmatism

Care: Wash hands with soap and water before handling contacts. Place contacts in palm of hand and put 2 drops of multipurpose solution on lens. Gently rub 1 side of lens for about 20 seconds, then turn over and rub other side. Place 2 more drops of solution to remove any debris. Place in case according to corresponding eye, and fill until contact is submerged with multipurpose solution. Need to change solution in case at least once a week, no matter if worn or not. After cleaning lens put in case you will need to put 1 drop for each eye of enzyme cleaner.

Insertion: Torics will have a weight or marking on lens that will need to be lined up accordingly. Marking will need to go at the bottom of the lens. Wash hands with soap and water before handling contacts. The contact should curve like a cup, not like a saucer. If saucer shaped then lens is inside out. Clean and remove debris with solution before putting in contacts. Take lens case and dump solution out. Rinse case with multipurpose solution, let air dry while wearing contacts.

 

GAS PERM:
Hard contacts

Care: Have separate cleaner and storing solution. Use only Boston or compatible solution for hard lens. Wash hands with soap and water before handling contacts. Place contacts in palm of hand and put 2 drops of cleaning solution on lens. Gently rub 1 side of lens for about 20 seconds, then turn over and rub other side. Place 2 more drops of solution to remove any debris. Rinse contacts with multipurpose solution and place in case according to corresponding eye. Fill case with storing solution until contact is submerged. Need to change solution in case at least once a week, no matter if worn or not.

Insertion: Clean and remove debris with solution before putting in contacts. Take lense case and dump solution out. Rinse case with multipurpose solution, let air dry while wearing contacts.
